About

It all started with a Kindle and a Cricut

Ink to Novel started from a love of books, indie authors, and endless Dramione fanfics! What began as a bookish sticker shop on Etsy has grown into a full-time dream job that lets me connect with fellow readers, writers, and creators.

Hey! I'm Michelle!

A reader, writer, designer, and the face behind Ink to Novel! As a wife and mom to three tiny humans, I'm so fortunate to now spend my days reading, chatting books, designing bookish and writing-themed merch, and designing websites for indie authors and bookish businesses.

Let's Be Besties

Letting Words Speak for Themselves

You may be wondering why the majority of Ink to Novel’s designs are text-based, and honestly it boils down to the fact that I’ve always just had a deep love for words.

Growing up, I kept notebooks filled with quotes—funny, inspirational, anything that resonated with me. That early passion for words naturally found its way into my designs, where I love to let the message shine without a lot of extras. My design style is pretty minimalist, so you’ll often see classic color palettes, like black and white, with the occasional pop of color, and simple, well-chosen fonts that make the words feel bold and timeless.

I know this approach isn’t for everyone, but I believe in a “less is more” philosophy, in not only design, but my life as well. To me, there’s just something powerful about a design that lets the words speak for themselves, drawing you right into their meaning. It’s like each design gets right to the heart of things, leaving space for people to connect with the words themselves. You could say it’s my way of celebrating the magic of language.

"And one day the girl with the books became the woman writing them."

A note about our products...

While I still handmake all of the stickers in the shop, I’ve teamed up with professional print partners who help bring my designs to life on everything else. It keeps costs down for you and frees me up to focus on creating more fun things and connecting with the bookish and indie author communities!
